Home Bargains’ 2026 Pre-Season Sponsors Event

The exclusive event, kindly hosted by Principal Club Partners Home Bargains, was a small token of appreciation to our commercial partners, providing all attendees with the opportunity to learn more about the hard work being done by the team as they prepare for the new campaign.

Shortly after arriving, sponsors were invited to watch a behind-closed-doors training session at the stadium, where Paul Rowley and his fellow coaches put the players through tough drills before running through various 13-v-13 scenarios.

Compered by the Saints’ Matchday Corporate Host, Pete Emmett, our commercial partners watched the full session before returning to The PSD 1873 Lounge for an exclusive interview with Club Chairman Eamonn McManus.

Head Coach Rowley joined Emmett on stage to offer further performance insight, as he prepares to take charge of the Saints for the first time in just a matter of a few weeks.

After getting changed into the brand-new and hugely popular 2026 Home Kit (which has just been restocked), the Saints players entered the room to meet, thank and enjoy a unique lunch with their individual Player Sponsors.

As lunch wrapped up, Emmett moved around the room speaking to a number of players who all shared their thoughts on pre-season and the excitement for the campaign ahead.

Club Captain Matty Lees was then invited onto the stage to chat about his Testimonial Year, which includes the Red V’s first match of the year against Castleford on Saturday afternoon. Tickets for that game can be purchased by visiting eticketing.co.uk/saintsrlfc

Three of our new recruits, David Klemmer, Jackson Hastings and Jacob Host formed a players panel on stage, detailing their arrivals and goals now they are St.Helens players to bring the lunch to an insightful close.

Saints’ Kit Partners were then invited to join the First Team players and staff in the stands for a team photo, a wonderful keepsake ahead of the season.

As has become tradition in recent years, the rain made a brief appearance as the team headed out onto the pitch for the official St.Helens squad photo. However, the weather eased enough to capture the iconic ‘SAINTS’ spelled out in the seating, with the BrewDog Stadium providing the perfect backdrop for the team’s official annual photo.
