The Saints will begin the league season with a box-office clash at the home of one of our nearby rivals, igniting another exciting year of action to come, in front of what is expected to be a sold-out crowd.

Tickets for the Saints faithful have been sold out in the away end for around a fortnight, with the Wolves kindly expanding our initial ticket allocation. The Club does still have some limited spaces available for our Coach Travel, the details of which can be found below.

Friday night’s fixture will be the first time since 2014 that St.Helens and Warrington have met in the opening round of Super League. That match 12 years ago saw the Saints earn a brilliant 8-38 victory at the home of the Wolves.

This opening game of the Saints’ Super League season also doubles as Paul Rowley’s first league fixture in charge of the team since taking over the reins as our new Head Coach. He led the Red V to a dominant victory last Friday night over Workington Town to progress into the Fourth Round of the Betfred Challenge Cup, scoring 17 tries in the process.

St.Helens will also be out to get a win and to maintain an impressive run in their opening Super League matches, having secured the two points in each opening match of the Super League competition since 2014.

Sam Burgess’ Warrington side, on their own turf, will also be fired up for a stronger season in 2026, and will want to impress their home supporters.
