As we get ready to kick off the 2026 Betfred Super League season, ‘Big Al’ joined Paul Hawksbee and Charlie Baker live on talkSPORT!
Our star prop appeared on Hawksbee and Baker’s afternoon programme on the world’s biggest sports radio station to discuss all things Super League, as the competition prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary season.
With 2025 proving to be a record-breaking year for Super League, 2026 promises to be even bigger and better. With three new teams stepping into the top flight and games set to be played in Las Vegas and Paris. Magic Weekend is also heading to the City of Liverpool, taking place at Everton’s new home, the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Alex also spoke about the changes at the Club, including the arrival of a new Head Coach and new players, as well as the launch of our new kits, which have already proven hugely popular! Altogether, it has made the England prop excited and eager to get playing out on the field.
