Young St.Helens First Teamers Leon Cowen and Alfie Sinclair are joining Swinton Lions on a short-term loan.
The two 21-year-old forwards will get valuable match minutes under their belt in Paul Wood’s Lions’ team.
Both Leon and Alfie have featured for Swinton on a number of occasions on dual registration or loan in the past couple of seasons.
Cowen was previously on a season-long loan at Halifax Panthers, however following the Panthers’ compulsory liquidation and withdrawal of RFL Membership, Leon returned to St.Helens R.F.C. to train with the team as normal and featured in our Reserves win over Leigh Leopards last Saturday evening.
Both are set to feature in Swinton’s upcoming away match against Batley Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon in the Betfred Championship.
