Paul Rowley speaks to the press ahead St.Helens welcoming Bradford Bulls to the BrewDog Stadium on Saturday evening.
Facing a familiar face as his opposition coach, Rowley believes the Bulls have started the season well under his former Assistant Coach Kurt Haggerty. After a strong recruitment drive which saw the West Yorkshire club bring in a whole host of new players, Haggerty’s Bulls have impressed in the opening weeks of the season.
On the injury front, it is yet more bad news as Alex Walmsley has now been confirmed to have a foot injury which will see him out of action for a number of weeks. Rowley praised Walmsley for battling through pain against Catalans Dragons and getting the win.
Several players are close to returning, including Mark Percival, Jake Wingfield and Noah Stephens, but decisions will be made carefully on returns.
