A classic Super League rivalry between the Saints and the Bulls is set to reignite after Bradford’s promotion back to the top flight.
It’s been a long wait since the two teams last met competitively, with the last encounter dating back to 2014. Back in the early days of the summer era, the Red V and the West Yorkshire side were fierce rivals, meeting in five major finals between 1996 and 2002.
Paul Rowley’s Saints are determined to extend their winning streak to three, following a commanding home victory over Leigh Leopards two weeks ago and a strong win over Catalans Dragons in southern France last Saturday.
Bradford’s return to Super League has been equally impressive, with two wins from their opening three games against Catalans and Toulouse Olympique.
