The Saints are undoubtedly doing it tough on the injury front, and Eamon confirms that Jacob Host had suffered a leg break in the match against Bradford last week, which has required surgery. All at the Club are wishing Jacob the best with his recovery, and we look forward to seeing him return in a few months.
O’Carroll states that the squad and staff view this period as an exciting challenge and have full confidence in our squad to face any adversity head-on. The coaches are discussing all options ahead of the knockout game against Castleford, with our pack in particular looking set to be reshuffled.
As the first opportunity to win silverware in the season, ‘Freddie’ reaffirms that the Saints want to be fighting it out for the famous old trophy, but know that going to The Jungle will be a hostile environment.
