St.Helens will return to France to take on Toulouse Olympique on Friday, 20th March 2026 in Round 5 of the 2026 Betfred Super League.
The match takes place at the Stade Ernest-Wallon, and kick-off is scheduled for 7pm local time in France (6pm in the UK).
This will be the first meeting between the Saints and Toulouse since 2022, when the French team were last in the top flight.
Paul Rowley’s men are currently on a four-match winning run, having secured victories at the BrewDog Stadium over Leigh Leopards and Bradford Bulls, and away wins over Catalans Dragons and Castleford Tigers, the latter of which came last Saturday in the Challenge Cup.
Sylvain Houles’ side has impressed so far in the 2026 campaign, having earned an away victory over Wakefield Trinity to start the year, and then following it up with a home win over Castleford. However, they have fallen to defeat away at Bradford and on their own turf against Wigan in the previous two rounds.
After a week without Challenge Cup action, Toulouse will be highly driven to perform well in front of their own fans, and it is bound to be a hostile environment for the Saints over in France.
