St.Helens' Betfred Challenge Cup Semi-Final will take place on Saturday, 9th May 2026 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington, with kick-off scheduled for 2:30pm.
The exciting knockout clash will be broadcast live on BBC One, and will be the second of four matches between the Saints and Wigan in the 2026 season.
St.Helens first faced our oldest rivals on Good Friday in a thriller where Paul Rowley’s men fought back from 14 points down in the final ten minutes to win 34-24 at the BrewDog Stadium.
This upcoming Semi-Final will be the next meeting, followed by the Magic Weekend clash at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, the home of Everton Football Club, at the start of July. The fourth derby match will then be Wigan’s home ground at the end of July.
Current Challenge Cup holders Hull KR will face Warrington in the other Semi-Final on Sunday, 10th May 2026 with kick-off at 4pm in Doncaster at the Eco-Power Stadium.
Both Semi-Final days will also be double-headers as the Women’s Challenge Cup Semi-Finals also taking place. The first tie at Warrington will kick-off at 11.30am, while the game at Doncaster starts at 1pm, with both shown live on BBC iPlayer.

Tickets for the Semi-Finals will go on sale to 2026 Saints Members on Wednesday, 15th April 2026 at noon (midday) for a 48-hour priority window, with any remaining tickets going on general sale on Friday, 17th April.
Our Members will be emailed their unique code, which will allow access to the priority window, with Members able to purchase up to 4 tickets per Membership.
St.Helens supporters have been allocated East Stand (seated) and the South Stand Terrace (standing) at the Halliwell Jones Stadium for this fixture.
Wheelchair Members will be able to purchase tickets online via the link and code that will be emailed to them, however, ambulant disabled supporters will need to contact RL Commercial on email: [email protected] or by phone 0330 111 1113. RL Commercial’s opening times are Monday-Friday 10am-4pm, please note: phone lines are expected to be very busy.
