This week for the Saints

The Saints have another busy week ahead, with five teams in action from Wednesday through to Sunday.

Action gets underway on Wednesday night, as our Academy side travels to face Hull KR.

Fans can look forward to a double header at the BrewDog Stadium on Saturday as our Women’s Team face Barrow Raiders in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Quarter-Finals. The First Team is then in action as they take on Wakefield Trinity, in what is one of the biggest ties in Round 9 of the Betfred Super League.

Sunday rounds off a busy week with two teams in action. The Women’s Academy kicks things off on the road against Warrington Wolves, before our Reserves host Wakefield Trinity on Sunday afternoon.

WEDNESDAY

Academy vs Hull KR (A)

Our Academy side returns to action under the lights as they travel to Sewell Group Craven Park to take on Hull KR.

Our Under 18s opened their campaign with a 29-16 victory over Huddersfield Giants before falling to a 36-24 defeat at the hands of Warrington Wolves last time out.

After almost four weeks without a game, Derek Traynor’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways as they return to action on the road.

SATURDAY

Women vs Barrow Raiders (H)

Our Women’s team takes on Barrow Raiders in the Quarter Finals of the Challenge Cup in the first game of an exciting doubleheader at the BrewDog Stadium.

Having secured top spot in their group with a 62-4 victory over Catalans Dragons this past weekend, the Saints head into the final eight in strong form.

Looking to reach a sixth consecutive Challenge Cup Final, the Red V will be aiming to continue their good start and go on a deep run in the competition once again.

Match tickets and 2026 Saints Memberships will permit entry to watch both matches on Saturday.
Tickets are not available for supporters to attend just the Women’s match only.

First Team vs Wakefield Trinity (H)

Paul Rowley’s side turns their attention to a Saturday evening clash with Wakefield Trinity at the BrewDog Stadium in Round 9 of the Betfred Super League.

Saints enter the contest off the back of a gritty 24-14 victory away at Hull FC last time out, a result that extended their winning run to three matches.

It promises to be an entertaining contest as two of Super League’s early front-runners go head-to-head under the lights.

SUNDAY

Women’s Academy vs Warrington Wolves (A)

Our Women’s Academy team is on the road this week as they take on Warrington Wolves at Victoria Park.

Graham Cranny’s side will be hoping to respond after a tough defeat to Wigan Warriors last time out, going down 34-14 at the BrewDog Stadium.

Reserves vs Wakefield Trinity (H)

Our Reserves also host Wakefield this weekend, as they face the Trin on Sunday afternoon. Ian Talbot’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways after a narrow 26-22 defeat to Hull FC last time out.

After winning their opening two games against Bradford and Leigh earlier in the season, the Red V have lost their last four games and will be keen to snap that run of form this Sunday.
