David Klemmer is backing St.Helens to respond in the right way this Thursday night as attention turns to our Round 11 clash with Huddersfield Giants.
The experienced prop reflected on his start to life at Saints, speaking positively about settling into life at the club and embracing the standards and expectations that come with representing the Red V.
Klemmer also looked back on the disappointment of last weekend’s Betfred Challenge Cup semi-final defeat to Wigan Warriors, admitting the result hurt the group after falling short in the derby encounter. However, the forward stressed the importance of learning from the setback quickly and using it as motivation moving forward.
With a return to Super League action now the sole focus, Klemmer highlighted the opportunity in front of Saints to put in a strong response against Huddersfield and regain momentum heading into the rest of the season.
Confident in the character within the squad, Klemmer is expecting the Saints to bounce back and is eager to play his part as the team looks to return to winning ways on the road.
