Saints head into the fixture looking to bounce back following a disappointing defeat to Wigan Warriors in the Challenge Cup semi-finals last time out. Despite that setback, Paul Rowley’s side remain in strong form in Super League.
A victory on Thursday night would see the Red V extend their winning streak in the Betfred Super League to five matches and climb to the top of the league table.
Their most recent Super League outing saw them claim a convincing 40-16 victory over York Knights at the BrewDog Stadium.
Huddersfield Giants, meanwhile, currently sit at the foot of the table, having recorded just two wins from their opening ten league fixtures. The standout result of their campaign so far came in Round 6, when they stunned Wigan Warriors with a 34-16 win at the Brick Community Stadium.
Since then, the Giants have managed just one further victory, coming against York Knights during Rivals Round. Liam Finn’s side come into Thursday’s clash refreshed after a week off, having already exited the Challenge Cup. Their last outing ended in a heavy 34-4 home defeat to Warrington Wolves in Round 10.
With Saints aiming to respond in style and Huddersfield desperate to climb away from the bottom of the table. Expect a physical battle under the lights as both sides look to make their mark in Round 11.
