After playing in the 400th match of his career, Jonny Lomax spoke to Saints TV following our away win over Huddersfield Giants.
The Saints’ modern-day legend admitted there is still plenty for the team to work on, but after a tough week following the Challenge Cup semi-final defeat, the main thing was to pick up the two points and get moving again in the Super League.
Lomax, who has now played 385 games for Saints, reflected on how much he still enjoys pulling on the Club’s shirt. He spoke about the highs and lows of rugby league, and how his hunger to improve and keep chasing success is still the same as it always was.
Looking ahead to the rest of the season, Lomax said the side has more to learn and develop, with the Saints now fully focused on the league campaign and earning the best chance possible later in the year to earn silverware.
