Head Coach Paul Rowley has named his 21-man St.Helens squad that will travel to The OneBore Stadium to face Castleford Tigers on Saturday, 23rd May 2026.

This upcoming match will kick-off at 3pm in Castleford.
Paul Rowley’s men are aiming to extend their five-match league winning streak in Round 12. Their recent victories over Wigan Hull FC Wakefield York and Huddersfield have set them up for this challenge.
In the Saints’ last match away at Huddersfield they got the win over the Giants to claim the top spot on the Super League table. A win over Castleford would solidify that position at the summit after this round with a week off for our team due to the Challenge Cup.
This fixture marks St.Helens’ second visit to ‘The Jungle’ in the 2026 season. They previously faced the Tigers in the Fourth Round of the Challenge Cup back in March and secured a professional 8-32 away win despite some enforced changes during the contest.
Castleford return home to Wheldon Road in high spirits after defeating the York Knights on the road in Round 11, and will be looking to build some consistency as we move closer to the halfway point of the Super League competition.

Rowley makes two changes to the squad that was victorious over Huddersfield Giants last time out.
Mark Percival is back in the 21-man selection for the first time since the end of March after suffering a hamstring injury. Paul Rowley confirmed in his press conference this week that the centre would be in contention for selection in this fixture.
Noah Stephens is also available after following return-to-play protocols due to a failed Head Injury Assessment (HIA) in the Saints’ Challenge Cup semi-final.
Alfie Sinclair and George Whitby are the two players to come out of our previous squad announcement.
