A new fan-led Q&A series giving insight into club decisions and direction.
As we go forward, future editions will be shaped by questions submitted by our supporters. Questions received will be reviewed and selected for answer in no particular order, but we shall ensure balance and topicality.
The aim is to communicate more with our supporters and provide more insight directly from the Club.
Please take a look at the first edition of Ask The Saints.
Why are the Saints not going to Las Vegas in 2027?
After detailed consideration, the Club decided to bypass Rugby League in Las Vegas in 2027 and will review the possibility of our club’s participation in the event in future years.
Whilst appreciating the opportunity to promote both St.Helens R.F.C. and the Super League on a global stage, our priority has been placed on investing further into our playing squad and physical infrastructure ahead of the 2027 season.
The Club remains very open-minded to the possibility of being part of the 2028 event, which would allow our supporters the maximum time to plan their trips, for which bespoke Club packages would also be created for those wishing to attend.
How is player recruitment going for 2027? Can we expect any big-name signings?
Bringing top-quality talent to the Club has been the utmost important priority at Saints. This remains the case, whether they are established international stars with experience across both hemispheres or talented local area players who are the heartbeat of the Club and inspire future generations.
The player recruitment market has undoubtedly got harder. There is more competition for players at the Academy level, and the expansion of top-tier teams in both Super League and the NRL means that competition is fierce. It’s a challenge that we relish, and the Club is committed to ensuring that St.Helens remains an elite destination.
What are the plans with The Marching Inn at the BrewDog Stadium?
Following strong fan feedback, The Marching Inn has started trialling openings for Saints away fixtures, including recent fixtures against Huddersfield, Hull FC, and Wigan, and will also be open for this Saturday’s match against Castleford Tigers.
We have sought to improve the experience based on fan suggestions, including more food options, Member discounts, and additional screens.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Are the Club looking to make further improvements to the matchday experience?
We are exploring options to further enhance the matchday experience at the BrewDog Stadium, including additional food concession options, entertainment and activities in the Fan Zone area outside The Marching Inn.
These improvements are also intended to be extended to the stadium concourse and the stadium bowl.
