A Super Saturday with the Saints!

This Saturday is our Community Development fixture! With two games, a stacked FanZone, Inclusion Round, and the chance for Members to bring a friend for a fiver, it should be an amazing day at the BrewDog Stadium!

  • St.Helens Academy vs Wakefield Trinity
    • 12pm KO
    • Academy Play-Offs – ‘Middle Four’
  • St.Helens vs Castleford Tigers
    • 3pm KO
    • Betfred Super League – Round 24

Our First Team are looking to follow on from an impressive 16-46 away victory against Wakefield last Saturday at the DIY Kitchens Stadium, which saw Tristan Sailor grab an excellent hat-trick.

Eamon O’Carroll will be wanting to build from that superb second half and take that into this week in hope of getting his second victory as Interim Head Coach, with the home crowd advantage the Saints will be going into the game with energy and confidence.

Similarly, the Tigers will be coming into the fixture with a bounce after their win over Hull FC 14-18 last Friday night. Castleford currently find themselves in 9th place with eight wins this season, two places behind the currently seventh-placed place Red V who will be viewing this fixture as an important one to keep our hopes to finish in the Play-Offs spots alive.

Castleford arrive aiming to do the league double over the Red V for the first time since 1990/1991. Of course, the two sides met in the fourth round of the 2026 Challenge Cup with the Red V coming out victorious 32-8 at the OneBore Stadium.

All of this should lead to a thrilling game at the BrewDog Stadium on Saturday afternoon!

😇 CELEBRATING OUR COMMUNITY

Saturday will serve as our Saints Community Development Foundation fixture and Inclusion Round for 2026, with members of our Wheelchair and LDSL teams all taking part in the day.

Players from the Wheelchair side will also be on hand in the HALO FanZone to showcase their skills to fans ahead of the First Team game. They are currently taking part in their inaugural season as a team together in the Development League and will be on hand outside the ground prior to kick-off to share their expertise.

Our LDSL team will be in action on the pitch at half-time of the Super League match. They will take part in some fun games against our local rivals Wigan Warriors, as they continue to prepare for their next Festival, which takes place at Crusader Park, home of our local club Thatto Heath Crusaders.

Amateur clubs from our community will also be celebrated, with youth teams getting to take a lap around the pitch at half-time, proudly representing their club around the Home of the Saints.
