St.Helens' Round 25 fixture against Leeds Rhinos will be our Willowbrook Hospice Takeover fixture.
David Klemmer, Matt Whitley, and our Chaplain & Wellbeing Manager, Paul Johnson, visited the Hospice this week to find out more about how important their fundraising is.
Established in 1993 and opening in 1997, Willowbrook Hospice is a dedicated independent charity offering specialist palliative care to our local community for patients with complex needs.
As a compassionate and local organisation, Willowbrook Hospice has cared for over 10,000 patients in the best possible way.
Their care is free but relies on substantial fundraising efforts and a modest contribution from the NHS. Donations and their retail charitable shops are crucial in maintaining their exceptional level of care.
The Saints are proud to continue supporting our local hospice, with the Club assisting the charity’s call for Men’s clothing donations, featuring Willowbrook’s branding on our First Team kit for the away fixture at Catalans Dragons in the last three seasons, and now hosting a second takeover fixture.
