It will be an emotional occasion at the BrewDog Stadium, with club legends Jonny Lomax and Mark Percival set to make their final appearances in the Red V. After years of outstanding service and playing a huge role in one of the Saints’ most successful periods.

The team will be determined to give both players the send-off they deserve with a victory in front of our home support.

Friday’s fixture will see the final time that two Saints legends will take to the field wearing the Red V, and there will be a range of activities and tributes to the boys throughout match day. Look out for more details closer to kick-off.

We encourage fans to stay after the final whistle to celebrate the careers of both of our homegrown stars.

❤️ TRIBUTE MATCH

This fixture is our annual Tribute Game, where we celebrate and honour the lives of Saints supporters, players and staff who have sadly passed away in the last 12 months. Ahead of kick-off on Friday, there will be a period of reflection.

Members of our First Team will read out the names of those we’ve lost in remembrance, which will be played on the BrewDog Stadium’s big screen and stadium speakers. This will take place at around 7:35pm.

This ‘Roll of Honour’ will be followed by a minute’s applause ahead of kick-off.

MAKE MORE OF MATCHDAY

The HALO FanZone opens from 5pm, and there will be lots to do, so come to the ground early and get involved!

Gourmet Catering, Coffee King, Player Q&As, live music from Raymond Power, DJ Earl Raff and so much more. Make sure you join us in the HALO FanZone ahead of kick-off.

 SQUAD NEWS

Eamon O’Carroll makes three changes to the squad he named for Round 26, with three senior Saints stepping back into contention for selection on match day.

Curtis Sironen and Jed Cartwright are back available following injury, and Daniel Suluka-Fifita has served his one-match penalty notice and returns to the Red V squad.

 COACH PREVIEW

O’Carroll says the Saints are determined to give Lomax and Percival the send-off they deserve when they make their final appearances in the famous Red V strip against Hull KR on Friday night.

Friday will also mark the end of O’Carroll’s time as Interim Head Coach, and his time with the Saints, with a move to rugby union side Scarlets awaiting him after our season comes to an end.

 THE MARCHING INN

The Marching Inn at the BrewDog Stadium will once again be open for our Saints faithful, and we hope you will call in to visit.

We will be opening at 5pm so come down and enjoy the pre-match with fellow fans.

The Marching Inn will also be open after the game, so you can make more of your match night.

👑 PERCIVAL PREVIEWS ‘EMOTIONAL’ FINAL GAME

Mark Percival is relishing the opportunity to pull on the Saints shirt one final time as he prepares to bring the curtain down on his legendary career against Hull KR on Friday night.

He reflected on an emotional week ahead of his final appearance, with the club’s final game of 2026 set to mark the end of an era as he bows out alongside long-time teammate and fellow Saints legend Jonny Lomax.

We are in action at the BrewDog Stadium once again, and our 2026 Home Kit will be worn proudly on Friday Night.

Paying homage to the inaugural season of Super League in 1996, this year is 30 years since that momentous campaign during which St.Helens won the League title and a memorable Challenge Cup victory at Wembley.

The kit worn during that season has since become iconic and a retro favourite amongst Saints fans. Worn by the likes of Steve Prescott MBE, Tommy Martyn, Keiron Cunningham, Chris Joynt, Anthony Sullivan, Bobbie Goulding, and Paul Newlove, to name but a few.

 SUPPORTER SAFETY

St.Helens R.F.C. want to ensure that everyone who comes to enjoy game days at the BrewDog Stadium can do so in a safe and friendly environment. The Club would like to reiterate to supporters that it operates a zero-tolerance approach to any anti-social behaviour.

Misbehaviours that will not be tolerated include, but are not limited to; physical or verbal abuse, violent conduct, missile throwing, excessive alcohol misuse, and any drug use.

Furthermore, the use of pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited under both rugby and football ground regulations. They can cause serious injuries to those who carry them as well as fellow spectators, as well as damage to surfaces such as the playing pitch which can cost clubs thousands of pounds.

St.Helens would also like to encourage parents/guardians of children coming to the ground to ensure they are always aware of what their child is doing and where in the stadium they are at all times.

 BAG CHECK

Personal bags of A5 or smaller only will be permitted in the BrewDog Stadium, and our stewarding staff will check your bags and conduct bag checks upon entry. We kindly ask supporters to please remain patient and be co-operative with our staff, and we thank you for your understanding.

Bags larger than A5 will only be permitted at the discretion of St.Helens R.F.C. staff if containing essentials for babies, or medical purposes and will be subject to being searched before entry. It is advised to provide Medical Exemption Certificates or proof of eligibility for a Medical Exemption Certficate.

O’Neills branded paper bags from the Saints Superstore will be permitted entry, however, they too will be subject to bag checks from our stewarding staff.

Bag-Drop Facility

A Bag-Drop area will be set up at the BrewDog Stadium for any bags that would not be permitted entry. This will be located in the South East corner of the stadium and will be open from two hours before kick-off and will close one hour after full time.

Please note our Bag-Drop facility will cost £3 per bag, and as a cashless venue, only debit or credit cards will be accepted. St.Helens R.F.C. accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of items which are left at the owners’ risk, with all bags subject to a search.
