Robertson’s win marks back-to-back award wins in 2025 and 2026, solidifying his status as one of the world’s most promising young talents in Rugby League.
By winning the award in 2025, Robertson became the sixth St.Helens player to be given the accolade, following in the footsteps of Keiron Cunningham, James Graham, Jonny Lomax, Matty Lees, and Jack Welsby.
Robertson’s prize was received at the 2026 Rugby League Awards Night in Manchester on Tuesday night, and he follows Jack Welsby’s footsteps who achieved the same feat in 2021 and 2022.
