St.Helens R.F.C. is pleased to confirm that Daryl Clark has been awarded a 12-month testimonial in 2027 by the RFL, recognising his services to the sport of Rugby League.
Over a career so far of over 400 senior match appearances, the Saints’ dynamic hooker is one of Super League’s biggest and best talents.
An England and Great Britain international, Clark has been a Steve Prescott Man of Steel, League Leaders’ Shield and Challenge Cup winner, as well as a Lance Todd Trophy recipient.
Clark began his professional career with his hometown club Castleford, making his debut in 2011, and broke through as one of the hottest young talents in the sport and one to keep an eye on.
In 2014, Clark transitioned from a promising young prospect to an undeniable star. He clinched both the Young Player of the Year and the Man of Steel accolades in what was his final season as a Tiger.
Daryl then made the move to Warrington, and during his time with the Wolves, Clark played in three Challenge Cup Finals and two Grand Finals, lifting the Challenge Cup in 2019 at Wembley, where he scored and earned the Man of the Match trophy.
Ahead of 2024, Clark confirmed he would become a St.Helens player, taking over the famous number nine shirt from the legendary James Roby. ‘Daz’ made himself feel very much at home with the Saints, ticking off a number of milestone moments in the famous Red V strip, such as his 100th career try and 400th career appearance.
So far for St.Helens, Clark has played 70 times, scoring 18 tries, and will go into his fourth season at the club in 2027, which will also be his testimonial year!
