St.Helens Women will sport a brand-new 2026 Away Shirt, carrying a narrative that honours the past, celebrates the present, and inspires the future.
-With the 2026 Betfred Women’s Super League season fast approaching, St.Helens R.F.C. is proud to unveil the 2026 Women’s Away Shirt.
This shirt features a striking, three-coloured ‘V’ designed specifically to tell the story of the women’s game in the Town.
Under the mantra “From The Ground Comes Light,” the three emerging colours represent the journey of the Saints Women.
The Design: A Journey in Three Colours
The traditional ‘V’ is reimagined with three distinct tiers, each representing a vital stage of our story.
Green (Heritage): Taken from the lighter tones of the men’s away kit, this shade reflects the roots of the game in St Helens. It honours the pioneers who wore the badge before us and the volunteers and coaches who broke down barriers in the community game to make a professional St Helens Women’s team possible.
Purple (The Now): Representing the current squad, the individuals fortunate enough to wear the Red V today. These players have turned the “impossible” into reality, winning trebles and inspiring young girls to dream of playing at the BrewDog Stadium.
Coral (The Future): Representing the next generation. This vibrant shade is for the young girls picking up a rugby ball for the first time because they see their own place in our sport, dreaming of the day they trade their heroes’ names for their own on the back of a Saints shirt.
To bring this kit to life, the Club brought together three generations of the Saints family.
The Heritage: Dawn Akrigg (Saints Heritage Number #10). A member of our first-ever fixture and a 2021 Treble winner, Dawn represents the platform upon which the current club is built.
The Now: Rachael Woosey. A local St Helens star and multi-cup winner, Rachael balances her excellence on the pitch with her role as a primary school teacher, inspiring the next
generation every day.
The Future: Arabella Akrigg. An Under 14s player at Thatto Heath Crusaders, Arabella is already catching the eye of the Saints pathway coaches, following in the historic footsteps of her
mother, Dawn.
Club Captain Jodie Cunningham, plus flying Saints wingers Phoebe Hook and Dani McGifford also feature in our launch. The launch ties together three generations, as the Club continues to lead the way in the Women’s game.
Home Shirt Now Available For Pre-Order
St.Helens Women’s 2026 Home Shirt is a version of the Club’s 2026 design but features a host of our Women’s Kit partners!
The 2026 shirt design pays homage to our glorious past, whilst inspiring the future. More specifically the inaugural season of Super League – 1996. It’s 30 years since that momentous campaign, during which our club won the League title and a memorable Challenge Cup victory at Wembley.
The kit worn during that season has since become iconic, and a retro favourite amongst Saints fans.
In celebrating the triumphs of that year, we have launched an updated version of the kit using modern fabrics but retaining the iconic design features from the 90s era.
Proving to be hugely popular, the ’26 Home Shirt is the fastest selling replica shirt on Club record. Now, supporters can pre-order their very own Women’s Home Shirt for the new 2026 ahead.

Monday, 23rd February 2026. Stock arrives before the start of 2026 Betfred Women’s Super League season, with an additional pre-order window to be available throughout the season.
Delivery
Shirts are expected to land in the Saints Superstore at the BrewDog Stadium approximately on Thursday, 2nd April, just in time for the Saints Women’s season opener
Shirt Personalisation
Shirt printing is available on both shirt options. If you choose to include printing, please allow additional time for your order. Printing options include the full 2026 St.Helens Women’s squad or a personalised name, at a cost of £12.50 for a name and number.

Login into your Saints Superstore online account, your email address used MUST match the email address associated with your 2026 Membership to be able to access the discount. This will then be automatically applied at checkout on 2026 shirts, shorts and socks only.
PLEASE NOTE: If the discount is not visible then your email address on your Superstore account does not match that recorded against your Membership. The discount it is only available online five working days after your Membership has been renewed, unless you renewed before 12th February 2026.

- Adult Replica shirts are available in sizes X-small through to 7XL and are priced at £54.
- Player-fit shirts are available in sizes X-small through to 3XL and are priced at £75. Please note these are an athletic fit with the majority of customers going one size up from their usual replica shirt size.
- Ladies shirts are available in sizes 8 through to 20 and are priced at £54.
- Junior shirts are available from age 5/6 years through to 13/14 years and are priced at £40.
