St.Helens’ squad to face Bradford at home

Head Coach Paul Rowley has announced his 21-man Saints squad ahead of Saturday's match against Bradford Bulls.

This Betfred Super League Round 4 fixture takes place at our home, the BrewDog Stadium, this Saturday, 7th March, with kick-off scheduled for 5:30pm.

St.Helens’ Academy team will also be in action earlier in the day at our ground, kicking off their 2026 season against Huddersfield Giants at 2:45pm. Match tickets and memberships will permit entry to watch both matches on Saturday.

The Saints return home following a successful trip to Perpignan last week, where our team performed strongly and dominated the second half against Catalans Dragons to win 4-36. They are also chasing a third successive league victory, after victory over Leigh a fortnight ago.

St.Helens and Bradford haven’t faced off competitively since 2014, but back in the early days of the summer era there was a fierce rivals between the two clubs, meeting in five major finals between 1996 and 2002.

Bradford have made a strong return to Super League, securing two wins in their first three games against Catalans and Toulouse Olympique. This fixture promises intrigue, given the former head coaches’ shared history, so do not miss the action on Saturday!

Tickets are available online NOW – with further details listed below.

📰 SQUAD NEWS

Coach Rowley makes two changes to the squad that was victorious over Catalans Dragons in the South of France last Saturday evening.

Alex Walmsley is out for around six weeks due to a foot injury, as was confirmed on Tuesday afternoon. Jake Burns is the other Saint to step out of the squad selection for this fixture.

The Saints are boosted by the returns to the 21-man squad of centre Mark Percival and forward Jake Wingfield. Both have been working hard in their rehabilitation following injuries, and it is a welcome sight to see them back in contention.
