It's time for St.Helens fans to make their choice for The Turmeric Co. Try of the Month for St.Helens, from the last month.
The Red V had four matches in March, kicking off with the first meeting between Saints and Bradford Bulls in nearly 12 years following their promotion to the Betfred Super League. Deon Cross ensured a home victory for us with a four-pointer late in the game.
Betfred Challenge Cup matters were then settled with Paul Rowley’s men travelling to Castleford in the Fourth Round. It was a professional and resilient performance to get the win over the Tigers, after losing both hookers to HIAs, and having a man in the sin bin too.
Just less than a week after booking our spot in the Cup Quarter Finals, St.Helens travelled over to Toulouse, a second early season visit to France. A brilliant first half performance was enough to get the job done, and hold off a late Toulouse fightback. Tristan Sailor’s incredible offload to David Klemmer will be a memorable assist.
The less said the better about our final match in March, a visit to Hull KR who were playing their first home match of the 2026 season following their World Club and Super League title victories. Whilst it was a poor night, Owen Dagnall’s try was a beauty, thanks to Noah Stephens bursting run and pass to set him going.
