It was a special night for youngster Tom Humphreys, who made his senior St.Helens and Super League debut, in our 14-24 victory over Hull FC.
The Round 8 Betfred Super League game saw the hooker come onto the field for the closing stages, and Tom could not have been happier to earn his first senior competitive minutes.
Tom paid tribute to his family, his community club and its coaches, as well as our Academy staff, all of whom have helped him reach this stage of his career.
With the Saints continuing to hold a proud tradition of developing our own stars, the former Red V captain wants to keep earning more and more chances to step into the match-day seventeen.
