Fresh off the news of his contract extension, keeping him a Saint until at least the end of the 2029 season, Tristan Sailor speaks exclusively to Saints TV.
The exciting player has enjoyed his first two seasons in the UK and feels settled both on and off the field. Having embraced the move from the start, he says St.Helens has become home and believes the Club has been a great fit for him.
Sailor is proud to represent a club with such a rich history and says he has learned a lot from the players around him, particularly senior figures within the squad. While he admits the last two years have brought their challenges, he feels the team is continuing to grow and adapt under the current coaching staff.
Tristan also spoke of his pride at reaching 50 consecutive appearances for Saints. Having remained available throughout his time at the Club, he is pleased to have played his part and hopes to continue contributing wherever the team needs him, despite preferring a role in the spine.
Looking ahead, Sailor’s focus is firmly on helping St Helens compete for trophies again. He believes the Club has a clear vision for the future and is excited to be part of that journey, while thanking supporters for the backing they have shown him since arriving in England.
