Saints put in a strong, determined performance to beat an impressive Wakefield side, and Sailor was pleased with how the team stuck together and showed plenty of fight despite several reshuffles during the game. He also praised the team’s physical effort throughout the game, building pressure and putting Wakefield under plenty of pressure.
The speedster feels the influence of Interim Head Coach Eamon O’Carroll is starting to show, with several young players growing in confidence in Super League.
Sailor was particularly pleased to share the final moments with the travelling Saints supporters. He praised their backing during a difficult period for the Club and believes their support continues to give the team an extra boost.
Saints are now looking to build on the victory when they return home next weekend, with Sailor already targeting revenge against Castleford Tigers after their defeat earlier in the season.
