The Final Charge continues to heat up, and this Friday night St.Helens will take on Leeds Rhinos, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm. It is also a double-header, with the Saints Women taking on York Valkyrie at 5:15pm.
St.Helens Women are looking for their first victory of the Super Four stage of the Betfred Women’s Super League, with rivals York just ahead of the Red V on points difference. The top three teams of the Super Four competition will go into the next stage of the Play-Offs, with top spot earning a home Grand Final, and second facing third in a Semi-Final to set up the finale.
Our Women’s team knows to expect a tough two weeks against the Valks, with this home clash first, followed by a visit to the LNER Community Stadium a week later.
This will also double as the final home match for some Saints too, with captain Jodie Cunningham and Emily Rudge set to retire following the 2026 season.

There will be a big fight feeling on Friday night when the Saints First Team welcome the Rhinos to our ground as the second match of our double-header at 8pm.
The Red V are on a two-match winning run after back-to-back victories, ensuring we remain in the fight for the play-off places. After securing a stunning away-day win over Wakefield Trinity, St. Helens backed it up with an impressive first half against Castleford to go 30-0 up before losing a man to a red card. A dogged second-half display ensured we got the important two league points.
Leeds come to our house at the top of the table on points difference, with Wigan hot on their tails and set to face each other in Round 26. Brad Arthur’s men ran riot in York last Sunday, winning 66-16, so come over the M62 in good form.
The Saints and the Rhinos have met just once before in the 2026 season, back in early June the Headingley side overturned an 8-16 half-time deficit to win 24-16. So Eamon O’Carroll’s Saints men will be out to avenge that result, and keep up their bid for the top six spots.
