Billy Keeley

An avid rugby league fan since he was six years old, Billy had it etched into a ‘Book Of Dreams’ that he wanted to one day play for St.Helens.

Initially a centre, Billy joined the Saints ranks at the Scholarship level and was moved into the back row, but continued learning in both roles with his community club. However, in the last two seasons, he has taken on his role as a second-rower with flair.

A standout within our Academy, Keeley has been consistent, racking up 27 appearances for our Under-18s team, scoring 13 tries over 27 appearances. Such good form saw Billy named in the Lancashire squad for both of the Academy Origin matches in 2025.

More experience saw the youngster thrive in the Reserves ranks, with 10 appearances heading into 2026, scoring five times.

In November 2025, it was confirmed that Keeley was to step up his development with the elite environment of the St.Helens First Team in 2026.
