19 | Caitlin Maylor

Hooker

Age
19

Stepping up into the First Team environment after progressing through the St.Helens Women’s Academy, Maylor is a young star to keep an eye out for in the future.

A rugby league player since the age of eight when she joined up with community club Golborne Parkside but her journey goes back even further than that when she was playing informally with her family before playing in the community game at Leigh Miners Rangers.

Initially she was spotted and signed up by Wigan, however, she grew up visiting all the Saints Women’s & Girls talent pathway or developmental days as an avid St Helens supporter, and then came to join our Academy ranks.

As an aspiring hooker, Maylor has been able to be an understudy to England internationals Tara Jones and Katie Mottershead, gaining valuable experience.

In April 2025, Maylor made her official Saints debut in the Challenge Cup Quarter Final against London Broncos, which the Red V won 78-0.

In August 2025, it was confirmed that Caitlin would be one of two young Saints players who would be going to experience rugby league in Australia in the Women’s Under-19s Queensland competition with the Redcliffe Dolphins from November 2025 to April 2026.

Caitlin Maylor has the Heritage Number #60 for St.Helens Women.
