St.Helens Head Coach Paul Wellens has announced his 21-man squad for this Sunday's Betfred Challenge Cup Quarter Final match against Warrington Wolves.
St.Helens First Team 21-man squad announcement is sponsored by St Helens Flooring.
The Red V go to the home of the Wire, the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 2:30pm on Sunday afternoon.
Sunday’s fixture is the second part of a trilogy of matches against Warrington, having played them a fortnight ago in the league, which the Wolves just narrowly won, 12-14. This Sunday’s Cup meeting will be followed by the Saints’ away league match on Thursday, 24th April.
After earning a hard-fought Super League victory in the South of France last Saturday evening against the Catalans Dragons, St.Helens are now looking to book their place in the final four of rugby league’s oldest and most prestigious knockout competition – the Challenge Cup.
Warrington head into the Quarter Final in good form, having won their last three matches; coming from behind to beat Championship side Widnes Vikings to get to this stage of the Cup, and getting back-to-back narrow victories in the league, firstly over St.Helens, and then last week against Leeds Rhinos.
The Saints will be fired up for this one; not only is a spot in the Challenge Cup Semi Finals up for grabs, but it presents an opportunity to strike back from the result a fortnight ago, and stop the run of wins that the Wolves are currently on.
Over 2,200 Saints supporters have their tickets secured for Sunday!

SQUAD NEWS
Coach Wellens makes just one change to the squad that he named for last week’s victory in Perpignan, with towering back-rower Curtis Sironen stepping back into the fold. It was revealed by the Saints boss in his pre-match press conference this week that Sironen missed the Round 6 fixture as his partner is due to give birth.
Centre Harry Robertson is the Saint who comes out of the squad, after failing his Head Injury Assessment in the opening minutes of last Saturday’s match against Catalans.
