The Women's Nines Festival returns for 2025 this weekend, with a day packed full of exciting action at West Park Leeds on Saturday, 5th July, starting from 10am.
It’s a new format for 2025, with all the action taking place across one day. Teams have been split into four groups: one group of five and three groups of four.
Each group includes:
- Two Women’s Super League teams, one from the top four and one from the bottom four of the 2024 season
- One Northern Championship team
- One or two Invitational teams
Each team will play the other teams in their group once for the Group Stage. Teams earn two points for a win, and a draw is worth one point. All teams will then progress into the Play-Offs, with the following structure:
- The top two teams in each group move on to the Championship bracket
- 3rd place teams head to the Cup competition
- Teams finishing 4th and 5th will battle it out in the Shield Play-Offs
