Following our fan vote, Saints supporters have chosen Owen Dagnall and Dani McGifford as the winners of St.Helens' Tries of the Month for June 2025!
A young man who is making his mark early in his Saints career, Owen Dagnall has been in a rich vein of form scoring four tries in three Super League matches during June, including a brace at home against Salford Red Devils.
‘Daggers’ second score from that fixture was a memorable one, with the visiting Salford side back by their own line Jonny Lomax fired out a pass to the left edge, Owen showed quick thinking to kick it ahead and then off he ran chasing it. The ball looked to be running out the field of play, but not to Dagnall who leapt on it and grounded it for a remarkable finish.

St.Helens Women’s Try of the Month for June 2025 goes to Dani McGifford for her sensational sprint against Wigan.
The winger showed her incredible speed to her her opposite winger and the Warriors’ fullback to get over in the corner and get the first points of a dramatic Betfred Women’s Super League clash. The Saints and Wigan fought an enthralling 22-22 draw.
