  • St.Helens Academy vs Bradford Bulls – 5pm KO
  • St.Helens vs Hull FC – 8pm KO
  • Turnstiles will open from 4:45pm on Friday evening

A Friday night feast of rugby league action will be held at the Home of the Saints, with a double header featuring our Saints Academy and First Team.

Our Under 18s have two matches remaining in the Academy Championship season and are looking to retain their position for the Play-Offs which will be see the top four sides fight it out to reach the Grand Final. Last time out our young Saints went over to Wakefield and put on an impressive 4-53 victory at the DIY Kitchens Stadium.

The main event on Friday night is an exciting clash in the Betfred Super League, between two sides that are both currently in the top six of the league table. Wellens’ men are on a strong run of form, having beat Castleford, Wakefield and Huddersfield in the last three weeks, the latest of which over the Giants moved the Red V into third place in the Super League ladder.

Hull FC come to our house on a two-match winning run, after beating a struggling Salford side but then following it up with a hard-fought win over Leigh, both at home. The Black & Whites have been in impressive form on the road in 2025, and will be coming to the Totally Wicked Stadium to try tighten their grip of a Play-Offs spot, and get a bit of revenge after losing to St.Helens at the MKM Stadium, 6-13, back in July.

This match is also the second leg of The Steve Prescott Cup for 2025. The annual contest between Saints and Hull which is played over the regular season meetings between the two sides. The team who has the highest aggregate score across the home and away fixtures winning the trophy.

Paul Wellens will hold his weekly press conference later on this afternoon, and, as always, will give the latest updates on his squad. Saints TV subscribers will be able to watch it in full.
