Details have now been confirmed for the 2025 Academy Championship Play-Offs, and our St.Helens' Under 18s team will face Leeds Rhinos at AMT Headingley.
Our young Saints are on the hunt for a third successive Academy Grand Final appearance, having won the 2023 competition but falling to a narrow defeat in the 2024 finale.
The Academy Play-Offs are two Semi-Final fixtures with the team who finished 1st hosting the side that came 4th, and 2nd taking on 3rd. Derek Traynor’s young Saints finished third in the league table, setting up a knockout clash with Leeds Rhinos who came second. The other Semi-Final will be Warrington Wolves hosting Wigan Warriors.
The two teams that win the Semi-Finals will then face one another in the Academy Grand Final, which will be played at the team that finished highest in the table’s home ground.

WHERE: AMT Headingley Stadium, Leeds
HOW: Tickets are just ÂŁ5 for adults and free for Juniors (16 and under)
Both cash and card payments will be available via Gate E at AMT Headingley Stadium via St Michael’s Lane with supporters able to watch the match on Tetley’s South Stand Terrace, or take a seat in with unreserved seating in the top half of the South Stand.
Free car parking will be available in Car Park F on St Michael’s Lane on a first-come, first-served basis.
