Harry Robertson named 2025 Super League Young Player of the Year

Rising young St.Helens star Harry Robertson has been named the 2025 Betfred Super League Young Player of the Year Award.

Harry Robertson is proudly sponsored by ASW Solicitors.

Robertson has enjoyed an incredible first full-time professional season as a Saint, establishing himself as a regular First Team starter in the new position of centre during 2025.

Over the year, Harry has made 25 match appearances, scored 16 tries for a total of 64 points, assisted in 7 more tries for his teammates, and earned an England Train-On Squad spot – putting him in contention to play for England against Australia in The Ashes test series.

The 19-year-old is the sixth St.Helens player to be given the accolade, following in the footsteps of Keiron Cunningham, James Graham, Jonny Lomax, Matty Lees, and back-to-back winner Jack Welsby.

Speaking to Sky Sports’ Brian Carney on the stage after receiving his award from rugby league great Joe Lydon, Robertson said: “It’s massive, I feel pretty lucky to be up here knowing we have quite a few good youngsters in the league at the moment. It’s a privilege.”

The Young Player awards were determined by the RFL’s Talent and Performance Department, with players who were under 21 at the start of the Super League season in February being eligible for selection.
