Mia made her St.Helens Women’s debut in Round 11 of the Betfred Women’s Super League 2025 against Barrow Raiders Ladies, aged just 17. In doing so, she became a graduate of the Saints Women’s Academy system.

Drescher became the 62nd woman to play for St.Helens, earning that Heritage Number – #62.

In August 2025, it was confirmed that Mia would be one of two young Saints players going to experience rugby league in Australia, playing in the Women’s Under-19s Queensland competition with the Redcliffe Dolphins from November 2025 to April 2026. Whilst in Australia, the young half-back played in several matches, and came back praising the experiences she learned ahead of returning to the Saints Women’s senior team.
