19 man Squad Announced

It will be the fourth time the two sides have met this year.
St Helens have announced their 19-man squad for their final engage Super League match of the regular season against Wigan Warriors at the GPW Recruitment Stadium on Friday September 5.
 
Sam Thompson is recalled to the 19 in place of injured Club Captain Paul Sculthorpe.

Referee for the clash which kicks off at 8.00pm is Ashley Klein.

Daniel Anderson says he offered some of his team a week off after their endeavours at Wembley, but no one wanted to take a rest.
 
“It’s still a very big game and a lot rides on it,” he said. “We want to keep the run going, gain the League Leaders’ trophy as it is a reward for a consistent season and then get a home semi in the playoffs.
 
“The team is good to go; we’ll do our job and not worry about what is happening over at Wakefield.”
 
Paul Clough added: “We’ll prepare for this game like we do every other, but, I’ll be honest, beating Wigan is always extra special!”
