Hailing from Oldham St Annes, Kyle has been with the club since he was 13 and played in the Academy Grand Finals in 2005 and 2006 as well as the reserve team finals in 2007 and 2008.

2009 was his breakout season with full international honours coming along with his emergence as the natural successor to Sean Long.

He broke into the first team in 2008 and scored in the Saints Good Friday win over Wigan. Big things are expected of him in 2010 where he will have the opportunity to make the number 7 shirt his own.
