Fozzie is one of the great characters of the game that can back up his joking demeanor of the pitch, with world class performances on it.
The Yorkshireman got off to a great start at the club with two tries in his first Super League match as a Saint at Knowsley Road, and then had to wait until the opening match of 2005 to next get across the try line.
His no-nonsense style endeared him to the Saints fans, and he established himself as a vital member of Saints’ front-row; laying the platform for the backs to work their magic.
Last season was probably his best in Britain and he was unlucky not to earn a GB call up for the series against New Zealand due to a persistent bicep injury.
