Keiron is the outstanding player of his generation whose place in Saints history - and the title 'legend' - is already assured.
Incredibly for a player with such a combative style he has missed just one game in the last two years – Saints’ summer trip to Perpignan in 2006 – a reflection of his commitment and ignorance of a pain barrier.
This long run of appearances has seen him rise up the Saints all-time appearances list having made more than 400, as well as 12 for Great Britain.
In the 2006 Grand Final he became the only Saints forward to score 150 tries.
He has the record of being the only player to have the same squad number in every season of Super League and has maintained consistently high performances, resulting in being named in the Super League Dream Teams in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2006.
And, in 2007, he fulfilled a lifetime ambition to captain his side at Wembley when he picked up the Challenge Cup in the game against Catalan.
A statue of Keiron will be erected on a prominent island in the town centre in recognition for this outstanding commitment to the club and town.
