SENIOR management and coaching staff from the Saints visited their main sponsors Ty-phoo Tea Ltd recently.
Acting Head Coach Mike Rush, Head of Sales and Marketing Dave Hutchinson and Chairman Eamonn McManus visited Moreton, the home of Typhoo to see how tea is made and to sample different teas in the tea tasting laboratory.
Wirral’s iconic Ty-phoo brand is St Helens’ main shirt sponsors for 2012 and 2013 seasons.
Typhoo’s Chief Executive Officer Keith Packer said: “It is amazing just how much tea is drunk at the club, the coaching staff and many of the players love tea and drink several cups a day, let’s hope that the team continue to get their OO’s and finish the season on a high.”
St.Helens Chairman, Eamonn McManus, added: “We have enjoyed a fantastic partnership to date with Ty-phoo, one of the few leading FMCG brands in Super League. I am sure the relationship will continue to go from strength to strength as the season reaches boiling point.”
