EAMONN McManus and everyone at the Saints would like to congratulate their own Martin Murray on his win tonight.
He beat Jorge Navarro just before the sixth round to win the WBA Interim middleweight title in Manchester.
To have a champion of Martin’s calibre in the town – and a big Saints fan to boot – is great for the club and the area.
It instills the great sense of pride we all have in St Helens.
