‘BE There’ a new video campaign from Rugby League World Cup 2013 involves some big names from the world of sport encouraging fans to be part of the UK’s next major international sporting event.
The Be There video invites fans to add their messages to those already added by the likes of Tour De France winner and Olympic Gold medallist Bradley Wiggins, Team GB Olympic hero Jonny Brownlee and Rugby League legend Darren Lockyer.
The superstars join fans and Rugby League players in explaining why RLWC2013 is an event not to be missed. Any fans whose videos make the final cut also receive tickets to a RLWC2013 match of their choice.
RLWC2013 Marketing Manager, Mark Foster said: “Our ‘Be There’ campaign went live on Friday November 30 and has so far received a great response. We’re seeing fans from all over the country joining in.
“Less than 10,000 of the ‘Early Bird’ tickets remain on sale and we genuinely believe this tournament is a great chance for UK sports fans, especially those who may have missed out on Olympics tickets, to see a world class event in their own town or city.
