Manu In Tonga Squad

WILLIE Manu has been named in a 33-man Tongan train-on squad.

The Saints star joins Wigan’s Epalahame Lauaki, Huddersfield’s Ukuma Ta’ai and Hull KR’s Mickey Paea in the initial selection.

The final 24-man squad for Rugby League World Cup 2013 will be named after the NRL Grand Final on October 6.

The squad will be revised as teams bow out of the NRL play-offs, although former Kangaroos prop Brent Kite, who will play for Manly against South Sydney in Friday’s preliminary final, has already been confirmed as captain.
