CONGRATULATIONS to Saints partner club Rochdale Hornets who won the Kingstone Press Championship 1 play-off final and gained promotion on Sunday.
Ian Talbot’s side beat rivals Oldham 32-18 with Carl Forster and Joe Greenwood both featuring.
Two tries from Dave Llewellyn and one from Dave Hull, Wayne English and Daniel Davies were all converted by Paul Crook along with another penalty to see Hornets lift the cup and reach promotion.
Ian is also a Community Coach at Saints.
