SAINTS showed remarkable spirit to come from behind and beat Penrith 20-12 in their final match of their Australian Tour.
Danny Richardson scored a hat-trick whilst Matt Flemming added a brace.
The lads showed great resolve to win their second match of the Tour against a big side.
The game was tied 4-4 at half time and then Saints came back twice – from 4-8 and 8-12 down – to secure the victory.
“This game was played in excellent spirit and was a great match,” Mike Rush said. “We’d like to thank Penrith for allowing us the opportunity to play especially Phil Moss the GM and Matt Cameron the player development officer.
“To play on at the main stadium was just as exciting for all involved and we had great support from the parents in the stands.
“I’d like to thank them for their support as well as the staff who have been superb since day one.”
