FANS can join former Rugby League stars Lee Briers, Tommy Martyn and Paul Sculthorpe, retired FIFA referee and cancer survivor Mark Halsey, State of Mind Trustee Phil Cooper, Steve Prescott Foundation (SPF) committee chairman Mike Denning and committee member Adrian Cunliffe as well as inspirational ex rugby league player Jimmy Gittins on part of their challenging walk on May 9.
The group are walking from Lands’ End to John O’Groats in 12 days, non-stop – and you could join them on one of the stages.
The walk sets off on May 5 and passes through Warrington early evening on Friday May 9. That night the Wolves host Catalan at the Halliwell Jones and the walkers will be presented to the crowd before the game as they depart on the next leg of their journey.
Fans are invited to join the Hattons Travel Walk Until Midnight stage of the epic challenge – a 12.3 mile wander from the HJ to Central Park in Wigan.
Minimum sponsorship of £60 per walker will be required for this leg of the walk and you will receive a Walk for Precky t shirt.
SPF supporters Hattons Travel will provide free transport to Warrington from Langtree Park leaving at 1940. They will then pick up from Tesco Central Park at Midnight and return walkers to the Halliwell Jones Stadium and then Langtree Park.
