DOMINIQUE Peyroux is ready for this Friday’s match with Huddersfield after a long and gruelling pre-season.
The former New Zealand Warrior joined the club in the off-season and alongside Theo Fages, Jack Owens and Lama Tasi has slotted into life at Langtree Park seamlessly.
“We’ve had a good pre-season and the last couple of weeks have been good,” he said. “I’m really looking forward to the season and the first couple of rounds.
“There is good depth in this team. We have young boys coming through and lots of potential young talent alongside strong leadership like Jon Wilkin, James Roby and Kyle Amor. There is a good mixture there and balance for us to do well this season.
“Saints were a bit unlucky last year but I think this year is promising. We have undergone a tough pre-season; we have new players and good potential. If we play the way we have trained then we will go a long way.
“We have done the hard yards now and it is time to concentrate on playing.”
Saints kick off their Super League XXI campaign against Huddersfield at Langtree Park this Friday.
