Adam Swift says pre-season training has already stepped up a couple of notches after just a few days.
The first team squad, minus our World Cup contingent, returned to Saints’ Cowley Training Facility last week to begin their preparation for the 2018 season.
“I’ve been enjoying it,” he said. “Last week was all about getting our legs going but this our first full week of intensive training. It’s been good; until we received a good old flogging earlier in the week!
“It’s been good meeting the new lads too. We’re all keen and ready to go.”
He continued: “It seems so long since that game against Cas and I cannot wait for the new season. There’s three or four months when you just train, running up and down hills, and I just want to get back into it.
“I am excited for the new campaign.”
