After impressing in his first season, Danny Richardson is working hard ahead of the 2018 campaign.
The 21-year-old played 13 times in 2017, scoring twice and knocking over two drop goals.
“Pre-season is good so far,” he said. “Of course it’s tough but we’re all working hard. We’ve had a lot of the ball this pre-season compared to others so I’ve got a good feeling we’re really going to hit the ground running.
“Before that though, the focus is on a good pre-season and then playing well in the friendlies.
“We’re still quite far away from those games but we want to start the season well and kick on from there.”
Danny joined the club from Halton Hornets and like a number of his teammates, came through the Academy system at the Saints.
He was part of the unbeaten Academy Championship side in 2016 and that form translated into a positive campaign last time out.
“I’m looking forward to it,” he added. “I hope all the fans have a good Christmas and we all can’t wait to see them in the New Year.”
